Ultrasound is the transmission of high-frequency sound waves, which are higher than the human ear can hear, through a probe to the organ to be examined. The sound waves then reflect back to the ultrasound machine to be converted into 2D or 3D images so that doctors can diagnose abnormalities in that organ more accurately.

Ultrasound Upper Abdomen is an examination of the liver, pancreas, spleen, gallbladder, bile ducts, and kidneys for abnormalities or not. Or is there an abnormal lump in any organ?
Ultrasound Lower Abdomen It examines the uterus, uterine lining, ovaries, prostate, bladder, appendix, and other lower abdominal areas. whether there are abnormalities such as ovarian cyst, uterine lump appendicitis

Note

If you want to see a doctor before the examination and purchase a package, there is an additional charge of 1,500 baht and the appointment queue is as specified by the clinic.

Examination method

The cancer marker test will be done by using blood and collecting a blood sample for analysis in the lab.

Examination by a radiologist

If the area being examined is already painful, the doctor should be notified before receiving the service.
After the patient lies on their back, the doctor or nurse will apply gel on the abdomen in the area to be examined before using the ultrasound probe to press and move the area.
If you suspect pregnancy, please notify the staff in advance.

Service duration

Service duration is approximately 30 minutes.
You can know the results on the day of the examination. Wait for the results for approximately 1 hour after the examination. The doctor will inform you of the results.
The radiological technologist will be in on the second Saturday of the week and the fourth Wednesday of the month.

Preparation

Avoid eating and drinking any fatty foods for approximately 4-6 hours before receiving the service. You can drink water.
You should wear loose, comfortable clothing for convenience during the examination.

The above price includes doctor's fee and medical service fee.
In case of seeing a doctor and needing a medical certificate, please inform the clinic staff in advance. The clinic will issue a medical certificate (in Thai) on the day of service.
The above price does not include other treatment costs. If the patient has a chronic disease or complications If abnormalities are found, it does not include medicine and additional treatment costs.
