Symptoms of monkeypox
Smallpox usually has an infectious period of 6-13 days, after which symptoms will begin. The symptoms of the disease are divided into 2 stages :

- After that, it dries out, flakes and falls off. In severe cases, the bumps may join together to become large and peel off along with the skin. Most patients recover on their own within 2-4 weeks.
